TABE
The Test of Adult Basic Education is the only online adult basic skills assessment that quickly evaluates skills for training and employment as well as examines readiness to take the General Education Degree (GED) exam. TABE contains norm-referenced tests designed to measure achievement of fundamental skills commonly found in adult basic education curricula and is taught in instructional programs. The exam measures skills in reading comprehension, language, spelling, and mathematics all while using subject matter that is relevant to adult examinees. The assessment results are scored automatically and results are generated immediately for viewing.
The ABLE Institute’s testing center in Boston offers a secure test taking environment for the online version of TABE. ABLE representatives are highly trained in the procedures that are necessary to maintain test security. ABLE’s online technology makes test registration a fast and efficient process for the examinee.
