Nelson-Denny
The Nelson-Denny test measures reading comprehension, reading expediency, and vocabularly retainment for students looking to enter or re-enter high school or college-level programs. The exam lasts 35 minutes, with an additional 21 minutes added for students in need of extra-time. The exam features comprehension passages taken from current high school and college level texts and fits national norms for high schools, and two and four year colleges.
The ABLE Institute administers the computer based version of the Nelson-Denny test and provides students and institutional clients with the option of scoring the test at its test center. To sign up for an exam or to inquire about ABLE's institutional testing services, please send an email to testing@ableinstitute.org or call 617-236-5700 x302 .
